Z`Bach Mountain Farmer's Museum- one of the Wildschönau's treasures
The Museum is a unique venue for events, parties or seminars. The farmhouse houses not only the museum, where over 1200 fascinating exhibits are on display, telling tales of the sometimes penurious farmer's life then and now, but is also the venue for the popular weekly craft fare.
Every Thursday - Craft Fare from 1 - 5 pm.
The Market in the Museum shows ancient crafts such as wood carving, wood turning, cobbling, felt making and basket weaving. Arts such as gold embroidery, corn dollies, and aquarell painting are also on display.
There is fresh bread from the outdoor wood burning oven and Tyrolean 'Schmalznudeln' a kind of doughnut served with homemade cranberry jam or apple sauce are made in the kitchen.

€ 4.80 for Adults incl. Museum visit and Craft Fare
€ 2.40 for Children up to 15 yrs

Why not walk to the Museum along the wonderful St Francis Path? The path is enhanced by nine bronze statues, a series dedicated to the Canticles of St Franceis of Assis and takes you from Niederau to Oberau with the Museum lying about half way along.
