Franz Posch

Famous folk musician and TV presenter.

Franz Posch began playing the accordion at the age of four. He later learned the piano, the trumpet, the clarinet and various other folk instruments. He studied music at the University of Innsbruck and taught at the Academic Grammar School in Innsbruck from 1977 to 1990. He has presented numerous musical programmes for the ORF since the end of the 1970s. His regular programme, 'Mei liabste Weis' is extremely popular.

Franz Posch organised the 1st Dance Music Fetival in the Wildschönau in 2007.
