Host information
Behind Hotel Iris stands us – the Family Gwiggner. Not an anonymous concept, but a house that has grown with us, where we truly live and work every day.
Since 2022, junior manager Lisa has been bringing fresh energy into the hotel – with new ideas, a strong sense for our guests, and the wish not simply to carry on what already exists, but to thoughtfully evolve it. This keeps Hotel Iris alive and vibrant, while still feeling familiar and genuine.

Check in is from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. If you arrive later than 6 pm - please let us know.
On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to leave the room by 10:00 am.
Some navigation service devices do not give you the right travel information to our hotel. Drive through the towns of Niederau and Oberau - to Auffach. At the Wood Museum in Auffach, turn right, past the "Hotel Platzl", where you take the turn-off to the right behind it. Follow this road to Bernau - to Aparthotel Iris.
