1st Tirolean Wood Museum
Interesting facts and curiosities all about wood housed in the wood carver Hubert Salcher's house in Auffach.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of his wood carving career Hubert Salcher decided to realise his dream and open Tirol's first Wood Museum. There are over 2000 exhibits in the museum where Hubert lives and works. From wood worm research centre to wooden underwear, a collection of wooden instruments and an antique wooden nativity scene. The Wood Museum is well worth a visit.

Mon - Fri 8am - 12.30pm & 2 - 5pm
Sat. 8am - 12pm
Entrance fees:
€ 4 per person (€ 3 with Guest Card)
children up to 1 metre in height are free
Group reduction on request.
