Schönangeralm
Take a trip to the very end of the Valley to the Schönanger Alm at the foot of the Wildschönau's highest mountain, the Grosser Beil. Splendid walks around the high pastures, visit the show dairy and stop into the restaurant with its generous terrace and kids playground.
Thierbach
A panorama trip to the highest village in the Wildschönau Valley. The trips gives you views over the valley, a chance to see the idyllic hamlet of Thierbach, where you can walk round the 'Kogel' before visiting the Lehenlahn Silver Mine.
From village to village
Get on and off the train where you like. Your ticket is valid for the day when you take the village to village trip. So you can pop into the Wood Museum in Auffach or the beautiful church in Oberau and catch the next train back.
