Riding in Wildschönau - Tyrol
The Wildschönau has something for horse lovers too!
The Hotel Wastlhof in Niederau has both an indoor and an outdoor riding ring. The stables house 3 Haflingers, 15 thoroughbreds and halfbreds and 3 ponies. Riding instruction and hacking are on offer as well as pony riding and pony games with badges.
The Haflingerhof in Mühltal as the name suggests is dedicated to the pretty mountain Haflinger ponies. There are 13 thoroughbreds in the stables and hacking to a mountain hut for an overnight stay is a popular excursion.
Many farms have ponies and other small farm animals to pet as well as playgrounds for the children.
