Meadows and high pastures, where local farmers send their livestock in the warm summer months characterise the Tirolean landscape. Our walk takes us first to the Cheese Alm where over 150 head of cattle spend the summer. Onwards to the little Feld Alm just beneath the Feldalphorn Mountain for a rest stop. We continue on our route to the Breitegg Alm where we learn all about the life of a cowherd. The walk ends at the largest Alm in the region, the Schönanger Alm from where we take the Bummelbahn (or taxi) back to our starting point.
The walk takes place every Tuesday in summer.
