The main ingredient of the famous Krautinger schnapps is the white beet. The schnapps is distilled exclusively in the Wildschönau.
Yvonne Prosser from the Ebersauhof Farm distills twice a year to the original recipe. The farm was built in the 15th century and is a real family business. The farm has been a certifies organic farm since 1996. The beet seeds are cultivated on the farm.
