Niederau-Markbachjoch Tour

Start is the car park of the Markbachjoch cable car in the centre of Niederau. Take the main road for approx. 1 km to the Wildenbach bus stop. Turn left onto the route nr. 353. The track is a relatively steep gravel road which winds it's way up to the Norderberg Alm and a lovely rest stop. After the alm (bikes have to be lifted over a cattle gate) the track continues as far as the Markbachjoch. The return route 284 takes you under the gondola downhill for approx. 3 km back to the village. Turn left onto the Wildschönau Strasse back to the start.
