"Kaiserschmarrn"

Recipe for 2 persons

  • 3 tablespoons wheat flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
  • some milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 shot of rum
  • Butter
  • Raisins
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
For the topping
  • Plum roaster or apple sauce
  • Powdered sugar

Cooking steps

  1. Mix the flour, vanilla sugar, milk and a pinch of salt with a whisk. Add 3 whole eggs to the smooth batter and refine with a dash of rum.
  2. Heat the butter in the pan, add the batter and top with raisins. With the lid closed, fry the "Schmarrn" in the pan on both sides.
  3. Crumble the "Schmarrn", sprinkle with sugar and allow to caramelize slightly.
  4. Serve the "Kaiserschmarrn" with roasted plums or apple sauce and powdered sugar.
