Harvest Festival

The Wildschönau Krautinger Week ends with a Harvest Festival in the Z'Bach Museum.

The day begins with a church service and procession in St Margareth's Church in Oberau.

The Mühltal Brass Band starts the entertainment with their super repertoire The original Wildschönauer Stormtroopers open the festival with a volley of shots from their ancient cannon.

The season's best Krautinger Schnapps will be chosen by a renouned jury of schnapps tasters and the winner announced in the afternoon.

In and around the museum a craft fare shows ancient arts and local farmers and schnapps distillers display their wares. Delicious regional dishes can be sampled and beet recipies tried.

And of course a glass of the local brew, the Krautinger Schnapps shouldn't be missed!
