Wildschönau Krautinger from the Schellhorn family at Edhof in Zauberwinkel
The Edhof in the district of Zauberwinkel in Oberau is known for the Krautinger, a unique schnapps made from turnips, which has been produced here according to old distilling laws since the 1970s by Waltraud and Martin Schellhorn. The farm, built in 1803, uses its own turnip seeds for production. The Krautinger from Edhof was awarded the title "Krautinger of the Year" in 2018.
