Schatzberg cable car
A super ski resort in winter and a walker's paradise in summer.
There are 113 km of slopes in the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau. The valley station of the Schatzbergbahn is in the village centre of Auffach. Leisure skiers in particular feel at home on the Schatzberg.
Above the tree line there are wide and sunny runs with one or two mogul slopes and powder runs. At seven km, the descent to Auffach is one of the longest in the Wildschönau. The descent from Schatzberg to the connection gondola to Alpbach is two km long.
Kids love the Schatzberg Zwergenland at the middle station of the Schatzberg cable car! In the spacious area, children have plenty of space for their first attempts at skiing.
