Covid-19: The latest measures in Wildschönau - Tirol

Have a safe winter holiday in the Wildschönau Valley

Information correct 12.01.2022

The UK, Netherlands, Norway and Denmark are classed in Austria as virus variant countries from 25.12.2021 and therefore have stricter rules of entry.
Valid for everyone of 16 and over.

Guests are allowed to enter in Austria when they are:
3 x vaccinated (booster) plus a valid PCR test (no older than 48 hrs)
2 x vaccinated with Johnson & Johnson plus valid PCR-Test (no older than 48 hrs)
or go into mandatory quarantine!

There will be tight police controls at all Austrian borders.

Important:

  • Children up to the age of 12 do not have to provide a test result if travelling under supervision of an adult.
If the accompanying adult has to self-isolate, the child must self-isolate too. The child can then leave self-isolation at the same time as the adult.
  • If travelling unattended, the same requirements apply as for adults.
  • Children aged 12-15 who are not yet fully-vaccinated can take advantage of a “Holiday Ninja Pass” to access venues at ski-resorts. Find out how to apply online.
  • Teenagers born before 31.08.2006 count as adults!

New stricter entry rules to Austria apply for most other countries: The 2G-Plus rules apply (Fully vaccinated, recovered plus valid PCR test)

No PCR Test necessary on entry if you are:

  • 3 x vaccinated (or 2 x with Johnson & Johnson)
  • 3 x vaccinated (or 1 x with Johnson & Johnson plus Booster).
  • 2 x vaccinated (or 1 x with Johnson & Johnson) then recovered.
  • Recovered with 2 vaccines

PCR Test (max. 72 hrs) is mandatory if you are:

  • 2 x vaccinated (or 1 x with Johnson & Johnson).
  • Recovered without vaccine.
  • Recovered then 1 x vaccinated.
  • 1 x vaccinated, then recovered (alternatively with a medical confirmation)
  • 1 x vaccinated, then recovered, then 1 x vaccinated
  • 2 x vaccinated (with a vaccine other than Johnson & Johnson), then recovered
  • Children under 12 need no proof.
  • Children from 12-15 need a PCR test or booster for entry even if fully vaccinated.

In resort:
•    2G-rules (vaccinated or recovered) in all areas, lifts, restaurants, hotels, shops.
•    FFP2-masks are mandatory in closed rooms, cable cars, public transport.
