WINTER HIKE SNOW CRYSTALS
Where foxes and hares say good night to each other, we set off and immerse ourselves in the winter landscape. Depending on the weather and snow conditions, we read animal tracks, take a closer look at the snow, and enjoy this remote corner with the highest mountains in the high valley. The tour route will be adapted to the respective snow conditions. Afterwards, we will stop for refreshments at the Schönanger inn.

The tour is ideal for beginners and advanced hikers
At 11 a.m. at the car park of the "Schönangeralm"
Registration fee:
€ 20 per person

Otherwise we will be forced to charge a cancellation fee of € 20 per person!
Arrival by slow train possible (31.12.2026 - 18.3.2027)
Departure Auffach Schatzbergbahn: 10:20 a.m.
Arrival Schönangeralm: 11 a.m.
Departure Auffach Schönangeralm: 2:10 p.m.

Single trip:
€ 10 for adults
€ 5 for children up to 15 years
Outward and return journey:
€ 15 (€ 13 with the Wildschönau Card & Wildschönau Premium Card) for adults
€ 7.50 (€ 6.50 with the Wildschönau Card & Wildschönau Premium Card) for children up to 15 years
Registration deadline: 9 p.m. the day before
Duration: 3 hrs.

Children aged 10 and older can join the walk
Dogs are not allowed
Good footwear, spikes/crampons in icy conditions, perhaps poles, weatherproof clothing, hat, sunscreen, enough to drink, snacks, money, Wildschönau Card or Wildschönau Premium Card
