With the Wildschönau Premium Card, you enjoy all the benefits of the Wildschönau Card
and can also use the summer cable cars daily and without restriction during the specified period.

 

FAQs

The Wildschönau Premium Card also includes free use of the summer cable cars.

The Wildschönau Premium Card is available for stays of one night or more at participating partner accommodations.
Excluded are owners and relatives of vacation homes.

The Wildschönau Premium Card is not available for purchase. It is issued exclusively by participating partner accommodations.
The tax is either included in the room rate or charged separately on-site by the accommodation.

The Wildschönau (Premium) Card is valid during the operating season of the Wildschönau summer cable cars (May - October) and for the duration of your stay.

All included services and attractions may be used as often as you like during the validity period (May – October), unless otherwise specified.

The Wildschönau (Premium) Card is issued as part of the guest registration process. This requires the details of all travelers, including name, date of birth, address, and email address.
Once all the information has been entered, the card will be provided either digitally via email or in printed form.

In case of loss of the Wildschönau (Premium) Card, a replacement card can be requested from the host.

The Wildschönau (Premium) Card is also available in digital form on your smartphone.

The digital Wildschönau (Premium) Card will be sent to you by email by your host before your arrival or upon arrival.

The digital Wildschönau (Premium) Card can be shared with fellow travelers via email using the share icon. 
Alternatively, the cards can be sent to different email addresses in advance or at check-in.

Yes, multiple cards can be managed on a single smartphone at the same time.

The Wildschönau (Premium) Card is personalized and can only be used in conjunction with a valid photo ID. 
Random checks may be conducted.

The digital Wildschönau (Premium) Card can also be used without an internet connection, provided it has been saved in your digital wallet beforehand.

• The Wildschönau (Premium) Card is valid from May 09 to October 18, 2026

• The Wildschönau (Premium) Card is only valid with a valid and complete registration by the host

• The issue of the Wildschönau (Premium) Card is dependent on your consent to the processing of your personal data. The basis for this is the EU General Data Protection Regulation

• The Wildschönau (Premium) Card is non-transferable and must be presented to the service partners

• The Wildschönau (Premium) Card is only valid for the listed services of the service partners, not for special offers or events. The TVB Wildschönau reserves the right to change the range of services at short notice

• The Wildschönau (Premium) Card does not include any guarantee or replacement services in the event of unused or unavailable services

• The general terms and conditions of the Wildschönau Tourist Board apply

• Holders and relatives of leisure residences do not participate in the Wildschönau Premium Card.

In the event of misuse of the Card or suspicion thereof, the Wildschönau Tourist Office is entitled to confiscate the Card without replacement or to block it immediately.
The transfer of the Card to third parties is also prohibited without exception and will result in criminal prosecution. At the request of the service provider, a photo ID must be shown.

The tourist tax

€ 3.50 per person per night. ( status 2024)

Children up to the age of 15 are free of the tourist tax.

In Tyrol, all overnight stays in accommodation establishments and leisure residences that are not or not only made available to changing guests are subject to the tourist tax. The obligation to pay the tourist tax begins with the first and ends with the last overnight stay.  

Unfortunately, according to the Tyrolean Tourism Act, (severely) disabled persons cannot be exempted from the tourist tax.

• As part of curricular events at public schools, colleges and universities (school confirmation required)

• Overnight stays by persons up to the end of the calendar year in which they reach the age of 15

• Overnight stays by relatives (up to siblings)

• Overnight stays in the course of gainful employment, provided the uninterrupted stay lasts more than ten nights (example: workers, film-makers, tour guides, bus drivers, representatives, etc.). They may only be exempt from the residence tourist tax if the duration of their stay is more than ten nights).
