Beetroot cake

Recipe for 12 persons
- 250g water beet
- 150g powdered sugar
- 150g grated almonds
- 250g flour
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 5 eggs
- Rum, lemon zest
Cooking steps
- Separate the eggs. Beat the yolks and sugar until frothy.
- Whisk the egg whites until stiff.
- Slice the beetroot and carefully fold in with the almonds and pour everything into a springform pan.
- Bake for approx. 45 minutes at 170 degrees Celsius.
