Go on a journey of discovery together, try new things, and create unforgettable holiday memories: The Family activity program offers a varied lineup of activities for the whole family.
Whether it’s an exciting treasure hunt through the Drachental family park or exploring along the hiking trail—here, explorers of all ages can get active together and enjoy plenty of fun, games, and adventure.
Your benefit as a family: Participation in the Family activr program is included in the Wildschönau Card & Wildschönau Premium Card.
A Summer full of family adventures
In summer, a varied program for the whole family awaits you, lovingly put together by our trained childcare providers. Discovering, playing, and creating unforgettable holiday memories together—that’s what we’re all about. Every year, we have a new theme: In the summer of 2027, “Wastl the hiking boot” will take you on exciting adventures.
Tyrolean family nests
Wildschönau is a certified member of “Tyrolean family nests”, a Tyrol-wide quality association whose mission is to make family vacations more exciting and enjoyable. Member businesses and a supervised, adventure-filled children's program will make your little ones' stay an unforgettable experience.

FAMILY DAY AT THE FARM
Enjoy an exciting day at the farm with your family! Sonja will tell us all about her farm. There are rabbits, cats, sheeps, and chickens, and she’ll also show us the world of bees and her organic beekeeping operation. We’ll also feed Pauli the rooster and his flock of chickens and take a look around the farm. Especially Wolli the sheep is looking forward to lots of cuddles.
LATERN FAMILY HIKE WITH SPIDER "SPINNFRIED"
Spinnfried is a little spider with a big heart for art. He weaves beautiful webs in the attic—but out of fear of the outside world, they usually remain undiscovered. Together with your family, we will go on an atmospheric lantern hike, get to know Spinnfried, and show him that sometimes you just have to go out to find happiness.
FAMILY SCAVENGER HUNT TRHOUGH THE DRACHENTAL
Experience an exciting scavanger hunt with your family through Drachental Family Park! Together, we’ll follow the clues, solve tricky puzzles, and put together Toni’s puzzle. Kirsten will have a reward waiting for you. You can also get your face painted and let your imagination run wild with arts and crafts.
FAMILY HIKE WITH "WASTL THE HIKING BOOT"
Go on a journey of discovery with your family and Wastl the hiking boot! Wastl may be getting old, but he’s really eager to join us. With magnifying glasses, we take a closer look at insects and flowers along the trail and discover nature’s many little wonders. We look out for one another as we get closer, step by step, to our destination, the Hartlhof. Farmer Christine and her goats, chickens, ducks, and cats are already waiting for us. Together, we’ll explore the organic farm, and as a reward, we’ll enjoy sausages with bread on a stick.
HERBAL FAMILY HIKE
We will go on an exciting herb walk with parents, grandparents, and anyone else who wants to join us. On the way to the Hintersalcherhof farm, we will discover many wild herbs, and at the farm we will visit the herb garden. Together we will collect these herbs, and the children will prepare a flower spread, which we will enjoy with homemade bread and feel-good tea. Together we will hike back to our starting point.
