Chantal and Toni dream of big money, a life of luxury in Las Vegas, and a bright future in South America. They want to be like Bonnie and Clyde. So they decide to rob a bank. And so the two wannabe crooks put all their eggs in one basket. Chantal: “The chance of us succeeding is one in a million.” Toni: “So what! Then we'll just be a million!” However, the supposed huge coup turns into a mega flop. The unlucky gangster brides have to find shelter in a shoe warehouse. But Chantal and Toni wouldn't be Bonnie and Clyde if they didn't carry on. Giving up is not an option for the two of them. On the contrary: they go on a “spree.” A tour de force through the banks of the province begins, during which our self-proclaimed folk heroes have to contend with ever new adversities... because the competition never sleeps! "Zwei wie Bonnie und Clyde" is the grotesque adventure of two underdogs on their way to great fortune—or perhaps behind bars?
