Focus on European markets

Around 90% of overnight stays in Wildschönau come from five countries of origin. Germany leads the way with around 60%, followed by the Netherlands with 14% and the UK with 6%. Austria follows with 5% and Belgium with 4%. In the future, the aim is to expand the share of visitors from Austria and Switzerland in particular as nearby markets, which will result in shorter travel distances and a smaller carbon footprint. With an average stay of around 5 days (many weekly guests), the Wildschönau has a significantly longer average stay than Tyrol. This also means significantly fewer arrivals and departures and thus fewer CO2 emissions.
