Family Advent Drachental

This year, the Family Advent will once again take place at the Drachental Family Park.

On the 1st Advent weekend (November 28th & 29th) and the 2nd Advent weekend (December 5th & 6th, 2026), each day from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., visitors can enjoy a wonderful opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit together with their families.

At various stalls, visitors can enjoy mulled wine, punch, and other delicacies prepared by local Wildschönau associations. In addition, there will be a wide selection of regional products from local farmers as well as unique Christmas gift ideas. A festive atmosphere will be created by a program of traditional Advent music.

While adults enjoy mulled wine or punch in a cozy setting, children can have fun skating on the ice rink or exploring the varied children’s program. A special highlight is a ride on the Alpine Coaster “Drachenflitzer”, which offers an exciting journey through the snowy winter landscape.

Illuminated figures around the park further enhance the festive atmosphere, making the visit a truly memorable experience.

Tip: Wildschönau Nativity Trail

Along the Franziskus Trail, you can admire ten unique nativity scenes displayed in showcases (also illuminated in the evening), created by the Wildschönau Nativity Scene Association.
You can park your car at the z’Bach Farming Museum or at the Tourism Office parking lot. From either parking area, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the Drachental Family Park in Oberau.
