Harvest Festival

On October 4th, 2026 the Farming museum z'Bach in Oberau invites you to its traditional museum festival. The highlight is the “Krautinger of the Year” award ceremony at 3:00 p.m.

At 1:00 p.m., the Oberau Marching Band, together with the flag bearers, will open the festival. Musical entertainment will be provided by the “Schlapper Buam” in front of the house and the “Inntal Klang” in the barn. At 2:00 p.m., the children’s group d’Hoachtoia will showcase their talents, followed at 3:00 p.m. by another highlight of the festival: the award ceremony for the “Krautinger of the Year”.

Refreshments will be available:

• Brodakrapfen, coffee, and cake from the farmers' wives
• Cold drinks from the rural youth
• Schmalznudeln in the museum kitchen
• Delicacies and spirits from the participating farmers directly at the stands

In the museum’s outdoor area, the Small Animal Breeding Club Wildschönau will host a petting zoo.

The event will be held in accordance with the criteria of Green Events Tirol.
