High Trail Trophy Wildschönau – October 3rd, 2026

Registration is closed. However, late registration on-site is still possible.

This hiking and trail running event follows the Wildschönau High Trail from Niederau to the Schönangeralm in Auffach. The routes are physically demanding, pass traditional alpine huts, and offer breathtaking panoramic views – in the end, it’s all about the fastest time!

Route Overview 2026: More Distance - More Challenge

Hiking Route – Individual, 2-Person and 3-Person Teams
The hiking route leads from the Markbachjoch via Rosskopf, Feldalphorn, Schwaigberghorn, and Breiteggern to the Schönangeralm.
Distance: 15 kilometres

Power Trail
The Power Trail starts at the mountain station of the Markbachjoch cable car and runs via Rosskopf, Feldalphorn, Schwaigberghorn, Breiteggern, Breiteggspitze, and Siedljoch to the Schönangeralm.
Distance: 20 kilometres

Summit Trail
The Summit Trail is the most challenging route. It also starts at the mountain station of the Markbachjoch cable car and leads via Rosskopf, Feldalphorn, Schwaigberghorn, Breiteggern, Breiteggspitze, Siedljoch, Sonnjoch, Großer Beil, and Kleiner Beil to the Schönangeralm.
Distance: 30 kilometres

For the first time, kids' races for the U6 through U14 age groups will take place in the finish area at the Schönangeralm. Here, the youngest runners can show off their skills on age-appropriate courses. Toni the Dragon will provide extra motivation and plenty of fun, actively supporting the kids and keeping the energy high.
