Summer Solstice

The traditional solstice fire at Markbachjoch in Niederau is an integral part of the Wildschönau mountain summer. The Markbachjochbahn cable car will be operating from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on this evening. The solstice fire will be lit at around 8:30 p.m. at dusk. From the Markbachjoch, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the solstice fires in the surrounding mountains.

The mountain huts will be open and offering food and drinks.

Special rate for the ascent and descent with the Markbachjochbahn cable car:

Adults: € 18.00
Children: €9.00

Season and annual passes are valid. The Wildschönau (Premium) Card and other guest cards are not valid.
