Kundl Gorge

The Kundl Gorge has to be one of Austria's most lovely natural ravines.

Start is in Mühltal and the quickest way there is to take the little Bummelzug train which meanders it's way along the riverbank. The path winds it's way for about 2 km down to Kundl in the Inn Valley. The views of the overhanging cliffs in red, brown and grey are astounding. The river roars it's way through the narrow passes until the end where it becomes more gentle forming pools for kids to paddle in.

The Gorge is closed (from 15.11. -31.03.2024) in the winter.
