Explore the region with a walking guide

Wildschönau guided walks program

Our qualified walking guides take guests to the loveliest spots in the Wildschönau from Monday to Friday in spring, summer and autumn.

The program has walks for all level of fitness. We begin in May and our guides are out and about with groups until the end of October

Examples of our walks:  A different way to start the day is the sunrise walk to the Kragenjoch. A family walk to a farm is popular with kids and parents alike and the barefoot walk on the Filzmoos Moor is a special experience.

Wildschönau walking guides

The local knowledge of our walking guides means that guests don’t miss out on any of the prettiest places in the valley. They are veritable mines of information about local customs and history.

Sonja Seisl from Niederau is a ski instructor in the winter and walking guide in the summer months. Sonja is an expert on local herbs and flowers and makes even a simple walk to the Filzmoor Moor into a fascinating discovery tour.

Walter Naschberger from Wörgl accompanies guests in the summer to the higher peaks of the Gradlspitz and the Feldalphorn.

Tailor-made tours for private groups are provided by the Wildschönau Alpine Centre and qualified instructor Uta Steckel holds mountain hiking courses in the Wildschönau:
