Wildschönau Valley Festival

The Wildschönau Valley Festival is one of the largest and most beautiful festivals in Tyrol and the absolute highlight of the Wildschönau summer festival season.

Four days of brass band music, party music, rock music, rich tradition, and a fantastic parade are sure to delight. In 2026, it will be the Niederau Federal Brass Band’s turn to host the Wildschönau Valley Festival.

Thursday, August 6th
8:00 p.m. Beer tapping & festival concert by the Niederau Federal Brass Band

Friday, August 7th
8:00 p.m. “6 Musicians, a Schnaps Panzl, and a Marmot” – the Panzlmusig
10:00 p.m. Party atmosphere with the MusiKatzen

Saturday, August 8th
6:00 p.m. “Seven Musicians, 3 Regions of Tyrol, Top-Notch Brass Band Music” with Nord-Süd-Ost Böhmische
10:00 p.m. Party energy with Die Lauser

Sunday, August 9th
8:30 a.m. Church service
10:00 a.m. Morning beer with Echt Böhmisch
1:30 p.m. Traditional parade “The Great Wildschönau Wedding”
Followed by concerts by the guest bands SMK Gnadenwald, BMK Mühltal, BMK Auffach, and BMK Oberau

The traditional parade on Sunday is the absolute highlight of the Valley Festival. Around 500 participants take part: brass bands, numerous magnificent floats, riflemen, “Sturmlöder” (traditional groups), and many other local associations. Visitors will also see many beautiful traditional costumes. After the parade, concerts by various brass bands take place in the festival tent. The final concert is given by the band that will host the Valley Festival in the following year.
