Wildschönau whirlwind day

The Whirlwind Day focuses on shared experiences in nature. Under the motto “Outdoors together”, families embark on a varied adventure hike with games, puzzles, and nature stations along the route. Without any time pressure, but with plenty of exercise, the joy of discovery, and little adventures, hiking becomes a special experience for young and old alike.

Along the route, families collect puzzle pieces that are put together at the finish line. Only when all the pieces are in place can the dragon Toni be freed – a shared adventure full of team spirit and the joy of discovery.

Even the journey to the start is a special experience: All participating families are taken to the starting point of the hike together on the slow train. From there, the route leads up and down through nature, past discovery stations and refreshment stops. The route is deliberately designed to be flexible – families can hike back down into the valley at any time, depending on their fitness, age, and the children's mood, and thus create their own personal hiking experience.
