Summer Solstice

Midsummer Bonfire at Markbachjoch

The traditional midsummer bonfire at Markbachjoch in Niederau is a staple of the Wildschönau mountain summer. The Markbachjochbahn will be operating that evening from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The solstice bonfire will be lit around 8:30 p.m. as dusk falls. From the Markbachjoch, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the solstice bonfires in the surrounding mountains.

The mountain huts will be open and offering food and drinks.

Season and annual passes are valid. The Wildschönau (Premium) Card and other guest cards are not valid.
