Terms and conditions of participation

By registering for the High Trail Trophy on October 2nd & 3rd, 2026, all participants agree to fulfill and comply with the following points:

Requirements for participation are:

• Good physical fitness
• No heart or circulatory diseases
• No fear of heights
• Sure-footedness

Minimum age:

• Hikers: 12 years
• Trail runners (all distances): 18 years

The event will take place in all weather conditions. If extreme weather forecasts are issued in advance, we reserve the right to cancel the event no later than 48 hours before the start. In this case, the entire participation fee will be refunded.

If the tour is canceled after the start for safety reasons, there is no entitlement to a refund.

• The organizers accept no liability for theft, accidents, or other damage.
• Each person participates in the event at their own risk and is responsible for their own physical fitness to participate.
• By registering, all participants also agree that film, audio, and image recordings made before, during, or after the event may be used by the organizer (in print, online, social media, etc.).

A refund of the participation fee is only possible in case of illness. A doctor's note is required for this.

In all other cases—such as cancellations or no-shows on the day of the event despite valid registration—there is no entitlement to a refund of the participation fee.
